The right to be cynical
Is not earned unless
We can also appreciate
All that is good and
Understand the positive aspects
Of what we are criticizing
If not we then suffer
A deficit of perception

Find praise
Where you believe
It cannot or does not exist

Likewise
Heroism and disgrace
Are always a pair
Which cannot be separated
