On empty city streets stop lights still change
Through midnight’s desolation order remains
Fallen stars on street corners look up to the sky
Not even ghosts fade away as long as they try

To suddenly lose control while driving
Car lights shined, she froze, I broke, the car skid
All too fast and maybe in another lifetime
We could have met, we died, so we did

Suddenly I found myself floating
Above the SUV, above her and me
